Curriculum Records presents: Eat Your Books (And Read Your Vegetables) & Cupcakeasaurus

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mr. Seley. I teach in a 3rd and 4th grade multi-age classroom in Birmingham, Michigan. In my spare time I like to write, record and perform music for kids. Some of the songs are humorous, a few are serious, and most are a mixture of the two. I hope you like them!

I'd also like you to have fun on my website so I've added a Treasure Hunt for free downloads. Use your mouse to point to the words on the site and you may find hidden links to my songs.

Enjoy,
Mr. Seley

Who Is Mr. Seley?

I grew up in Farmington, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan, I taught in Osaka, Japan. When I returned to the US, I taught 1st grade on the east side of Detroit. I currently teach in a 3rd and 4th grade multi-age classroom in Birmingham, Michigan.

In elementary school, I began playing the trumpet (much to the chagrin of my neighbors). In high school, my father taught me how to play guitar, which turned out to be a way better choice for me. Since then, I learned to play the bass, drums, ukulele, and do a passable impression of singing. What I love to do most–besides teaching–is write songs for kids.

My ambitions include being a great teacher, writing excellent songs for kids, and one day–if I’m lucky–living in a tree house.
